Summertime Fun

Summer is here and that means beach days, swimming pools, outdoor concerts, more time with the kids and grandkids, and vacation plans. I hope everyone is planning something fun this summer, whether you're visiting faraway places or choosing instead to have a stay-cation, doing fun things with the family around your own neighborhoods and towns. Sometimes it's lots of fun to discover new and interesting sites around home to explore.

In the Los Angeles area, we have marine life aquariums, museums, arboretums, live theater, tar pits, a planetarium, a zoo, and a number of fabulous amusement parks--just to name a few fun things to do. A little ingenuity and some online research can net all kinds of wonderful ideas for keeping the kids entertained. Whatever you decide to do this summer, I hope you have a fabulous time creating wonderful and lasting memories with your family.

This August, I wll be crossing the absolute number one item off of my Bucket List, which is a visit to Ireland and Scotland. I've been to Europe several times, but never to the Emerald Isle! I'm anxious to change that by embarking on a 2-week tour of Ireland and Scotland with my husband and some friends. I can't wait!
